  This finca cottage is an enchanting place to relax, unwind, and escape from everyday concerns – we’ve had a wonderful week. Chris and Terry are excellent hosts: friendly, welcoming and helpful, yet unobtrusive and discrete – a perfect blend! The casita itself is comfortable and homely,and we woke each morning in our comfy beds to the sound of goat bellsand birdsong. And, we must mention the lovely sparkling pool: all toourselves, surrounded by mountain views and very private, it was trulyspecial... my swimming cossie could have stayed at home! There’s muchto see and do here - plenty of birds for Chris (feathered of course!),and walking in the El Torcal National Park was stunning. The colonialbuildings squeezed into the historical heart of Malaga’s old townare well worth a visit too. Andalucia’s countryside works a subtlemagic: silver-leaved olive groves, emerald-green trees dripping withlemons and starched white farmhouses contrast sharply with the bakedterracotta hillsides. Our meals were afeast of sun-kissed peaches, ruby-red tomatoes, melt-in-the-mouth Jamonde Serrano and salty olives. Chris and Terry’s almonds, harvestedon the farm, were fun to shell and roast ourselves. Our tastebuds tingledwith delight all week. No surprise - ournext year’s adventure at Finca Colina is inked in Chris and Terry’sdiary already!
