  "The views from the roof top Terrace are the best! My wife Julia and myself have just spent a week at the 'Captains House' and we loved it. Nick's description was spot on. It is on three floors and when we weren't sleeping or out, we spent all our time on the roof. Apart from entering and leaving the house, we didn't spend any time in the downstairs lounge/kitchen. It was a very n ice room, but the sun was shining and the roof was beckoning. The roof top terrace has a full working kitchen (but we ate out every night). It gets the sun all day. Very centrally located. No need for a car (although we hired one, and just used it twice. To and from the airport). Nick sent us a list of his preferred restaurants and we tried most of them and his advice was accurate and appreciated. We will be back."

  "To live your dream for a week! Hiring the Captain's House for a week fulfills a dream for us, to live as a Spaniard in a Spanish village in a Spanish house. The house is very rustic, although it has all mod cons, and fits in wonderfully with its neighbors...as it should of course. Loads of sounds around the house of Spanish life which really helps to enhance the sense of being a resident, and very welcoming neighbors which was nice. The best part of the house has to be the roof terrace. Can't describe what it's like to breakfast every morning with a view of paradise, the beach and the prom of Puerto De Mogan are just below. It does get very hot up there so early and late are easily the best times to sit there."

  "The house was very clean, there was everything there that we needed for our stay ,it is in a quiet location in the old part of town and the view from the roof top overlooking the beach is as the pictures shown on the website, and it is central for all the amenities ,eg marina, shops restaurants,bus station and beach. Would certainly consider staying there again."

  "Just returned from The Captains House where my husband and I had a wonderful holiday. The house made our holiday, it was spotlessly clean, the location couldn't be better, close to many wonderful restaurants and of course it has the most amazing roof terrace where we spent hours and hours relaxing and enjoying probably the best view in Puerto de Mogan. Nick was very helpful all the way through and everything went smoothly. Needless to say we have re booked for next year, something we don't do unless it is special."

  "Spectacular View! Brilliant apartment with spectacular view from the large terrace. Everything which was needed was there in the two kitchens. Only two minute walk to all the amenities with the beach and harbour also within two -three minutes, the food in the restaurants when we did eat out was always top quality. Town is not over built with low rise buildings making it feel very friendly and safe. Nick the owner was excellent at sending all details about the apartment and also the taxi and agency who let us in were also excellent. Hope to come back again."

  "Characterful Canarian house in a great location with an amazing roof terrace Myself and my boyfriend stayed at The Captain's House for a week in early January. The house is very spacious and comfortable, on a small lane just up from one of the main streets. Without being too noisy, it has a great atmosphere with chatter and singing from the chef nearby, lovely cooking smells, and local residents going about their business. If you want to self cater you have 2 kitchens to choose from, one being on the beautiful sunny roof terrace overlooking the bay - as previous reviews have said, this is where most people spend their time and we certainly did!"

  "Just Brilliant! The property is a lovely traditional house very close to everything you want/need. We didnt really use the downstairs as we made use of the beautiful roof terrace. The space was fantasic overlooking the town/beach had breakfast each morning there and ate a couple times on an evening. Everything is provided for you in the house and a lot of information regarding the accommodation and resort is supplied which is very handy. Puerto Mogan is a charming town. Plenty of places to eat/drink lovely marina and beach a very relaxing chilled out resort. The airport transfer both ways were excellent and the agent is just around the corner if you need her. Hoping to return in the future as a week is just not long enough."
