Traditional Country House In The Heart Of The Alpujarras
This traditional country house with pool for 6 guests is located in the heart of the Alpujarras, near the village of Carataunas. It is a family house that has been handed down over generations and has been lovingly restored in a rustic style.
There is a large pretty garden with various terraces, fruit trees and a private pool with breath-taking views of the mountains. The house offers all comforts such as an open kitchen, living room, bathroom, 3 bedrooms, a fireplace and free wifi.
In the immediate vicinity of the house you can go on various hikes through the Alpujarras, the most beautiful hiking area in Andalusia. The white villages of Pampaneira, Bubion, and the cities of Granada and Cordoba are easy to reach. In Orgiva (6 km) you will find shops, tapas bars, restaurants, banks and a pharmacy. Only 40 minutes by car to beaches or seaside resorts.

Lovely house, with an exceptionally warm welcome from the spanish owners. Who wouldn't fall in love with that view, the pool (just about warm enough in early October) and being encouraged to pick delicious tomatoes and peppers from the garden. Perfect base for some wonderful walks in the area and a beautiful spot to relax. Recommended.

The place was fabulous! The pool was exactly what you need on a hot Summer day to cool off. It's even big enough to swim a couple of laps in the morning. The house is beautiful and the photos are accurate. The garden is absolutely HUGE, with a patch of farmland from which you can get an array of vegetables and fruits (avocados, lemons, cabbage, squash, almonds etc). The privacy of the place is also a plus and all in all, it's a lovely house to say.
