Our old Andalusian farmhouse El Arpa is very centrally located in Andalusia. We are a Danish couple who took over the old abandoned farmhouse in 2007 and since then we have completely renovated it so that we can now welcome guests in paradise – in the middle of the unspoilt nature between lake and mountains.
There are endless possibilities here – for an active holiday as well as for visiting sights; The King´s Little Pathway Caminito del Rey is just 5 minutes from here – and Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Ronda and Malaga are all 1-1½ hours’ drive from here.

Our finca is the only building on Lake Guadalhorce, so there is a view of 100% nature all around. It is also the “secret lake” – i.e. the one of the 3 lakes that receives the fewest visitors, so it is very peaceful here.
And there are endless possibilities here. In addition to swimming and enjoying nature, there are plenty of hiking routes, both marked and unmarked.
And then you can climb, kayak, cycle, run, watch birds, paraglide and much more.

The lake is beautiful and extremely peaceful. It seems only occupants of El Arpa and the occasional farmer use the lake. Fantastic swimming, stunning walks and a cosy base for outdoor adventures. We recommend El Torcal nearby, and the castle at Olvera. There are a multitude of well marked trails through the surrounding natural parks - you don't need to withstand the bustle of the King's Walk to see outstanding beauty and sweeping views.

Very very nice place. You will find all you need if you are looking for a nice break from busy life. Quiet but close to interesting places in the area. Worth mentioning the nice walks you can take around Al Arpa. I definitely recommend the place!

Way too short... The perfect place to unwind, relax, do very little and rediscover nature. We enjoyed swimming in the lake. We enjoyed walking round the finca, seeing the horses and the paragliders. We appreciated the amazing views from our veranda.
